A Happy Vegan Thanksgiving!

Its time to give thanks, for all the variety of foods there are! This thanksgiving can be a vegan one if one wishes, and with no more (probably even less) work than it would be to cook a turkey.

On the Food Network’s Healthy Eats you can find “A Vegan Thanksgiving Feast”. It has the whole shindig of foods!

Here’s a summary of the Feast:

First things first: TURKEY REPLACEMENT
A cook can replace that overbearing turkey easily with a Seitan en Croute.
Seitan en Croute is a pastry-inspired wrap of sliced seitans and crowded mushrooms baked to a golden brown delight. Served with it is a Madeira Sauce. Yum! And there you have your foundation for the mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, pumpkin pie, and so on!

Stuffing is always looked forward too. But then again its stuffing as in bits of bread stuffed inside the turkey. Vegans obviously don’t have the turkey. Nevertheless, Vegans can make there own stuffing as well, and make it taste amazing for sure!

What would Thanksgiving be without those good old mashed potato and gravy volcanoes?
